The word out here is there's a real possibility that Davis fired Cable specifically to hire Jackson as HC. But honestly, who knows what goes on in that dark mass of tangled cobwebs Al Davis calls a brain?
it might make sense, and not the first time it's happened that way (Raheem Morris). Hue seems like a good head coach and they've made a better hire there than the last few. he and Al Saunders should be a good pair.
